Router needs to be restarted every 12 hours - why?

I have a problem with a wireless router that looses network connectivity every 12 hour approximately.

The set-up consists of a 3 USB dongle connected to a TL-LINK wless router.

The strange thing is that a public ip address is present on the router and connection status is OK.

Has anyone seen this type of problem before? Is it a problem with the router or the internet provider?

    Thanks.
