Maybe try following up on 1 of these threads?
I know things and places move on and that some of them are quite outdated now,
but perhaps if someone followed up on those?
Rather than reposting the same query over and over, it could develop into quite a handy little resource for High speed net access café locations maybe even worthy of a sticky somewhere?.

Bloody hell I think I've started all those! :p The problem is (a) I've never gotten a decent answer and (b) One or two of them would be considered zombie threads!

    Yep....You did ;)
So to answer (A)There's a world of difference between getting the answer you want and a decent answer!
You want someone to tell you there is a superfast Fibre or UPC powered internet café that will let ya blaze along and download @ <100mbs....
You didn't get that answer because I don't think it exists in Limerck(unfortunately)....Unless you have a neighbour you can leech wifi from :P

Also, its not too long ago(February) that you answered this question yourself quite thoroughly
Right so I've done a bit of research. Moviedrome in Henry Street seem to have a speed of around 10Mb which ain't great in this day and age. Similar speeds in the Station Internet Cafe in Davis Street and the internet cafe across from the launderette in Thomas Street. I suppose it isn't in their interest to have you out of there quicker! Computers in the mentioned cafes are pretty low specced as well. I'm open to suggestions to test out some other cafes. I know there used to be a "Everest internet cafe" in Lower Mallow Street and there's also one down by Wickham Street. Any others guys?

    B) I agree with you about the zombie thread issue ;)
My point though would be that if you kept yourself to 1 thread and updated it\shared new info on whats opening it could be quite a useful resource.

Just as an aside to the Internet cafe search, do you have any neighbours near you that would let you use their internet for a portion of their service charge?
Say if they have Eircom\UPC\Any other, pay them a few quid towards their monthly charge to use their wifi maybe?
That way you won't have to worry about Café speeds and closing times?
Just an idea, might mnot be workable in your situation but could save ya a headache.

Mod Post: Thread closed. More or less the same topic being used to start multiple threads.

Would suggest that this forum has given all the answers it can to the same couple of questions over the past few years, and that the poster asking the question would be better served going to the Broadband subforum here on Boards.ie which is part of the tech forum.

As a related aside, the replies to the original poster in this thread come very close to being back seat modding, which is something that is frowned upon as well, so in future please leave that side of things to a mod.
