I picked up this tinplate toy tank recently. Both it and the box are in perfect condition. Is there much demand for toys like this? This is Chinese made so would it be likely to be not so rare?

Would imagine such things would have been made in their 1000s and made long after tinplate toys ceased to be fashionable in the 'West' well into the 70s and 80s.

Pre WW1 German and British tinplate toys would be at the premium end of the scale, though I have seen things like a post WW2 Japanese tinplate bus in imagined CIE livery with 'Busarus' desination fetch a reasonable price.
