AA Ireland now gathers statistics on which Zodiac signs their insurance claimants were born under in order to assess their risk.

I love this bit :- "Faughnan, an Aquarius and a committed rationalist, adds: “In reality, Insurers use a lot of hard data in assessing what your risk rate is. These include obvious things like your claims record, your driving experience or your penalty points but also includes things like what job you do, whether or not you are married and whereabouts in the country that you live. Each of these does make a genuine difference on what your insurance costs.”

Clowns? No just another crowd trying to find inventive ways to part you from your cash. "Hello, Irish Psychics Oncall?. No bud, I don't wanna readin' I wanna renew the insurance on the jam-jar, righ'"

Director of Consumer Affairs Conor Faughnan:
We don’t take it all that seriously, and certainly we don’t use astrology to rate motor insurance risk

Beige cars are cheaper to insure, black cars cost more.

I'm sure an Aquarian and "committed rationalist" will find ways to use the data they have already gathered, analysed and published, otherwise why gather, analyse, publish and comment on them?

TODAY: Although you begin the day organised and efficient, there will be times when it feels like you’re running just to keep still. On a more positive note, whether you’re single or attached, both your luck and romantic prospects brighten. Be wary of reversing into a tight spot. Call me to hear to hear more.

@The Queen of England, Ma'am you have have hit the Royal nail on its investitured head. Fuaghnan wants to launch a new phone-in service for AA Ireland as a revenue earner. I know Ma'am, commercial commentary is so common and distasteful.

Would'nt you be after thinkin' though Ma'am that as a committed rationalist and Acquarian, that's two things there now, he'd find more ways to make rational use of all them accident stats. Like, with all due respect to your good self Ma'am, places to avoid, dates and times not to drivin' on the roads and so on. Rational stuff we could maybe even use. He sounds a bit star-struck to me.

So which is more of a danger on the road, a Taurus or an Aries? The Bull or the Ram?! :)

Scorpio: You will meet a talk dark stranger and a bus will pull out in-front of you causing a 5 car pile-up.
