Towed Car Crashing into roadworks on the M4 - Idiots!

    Did anyone else see the crash on the M4 just before Maynooth today?

    Two idiots were towing a mini van with a rope by a lorrie at 120km down the M4. The car that was being towed had someone in it, it was swerving all over the place. Then went into the hard shoulder where after about 100m they smashed into roadworks.

    Then they thought it would be a good idea to leave the car that was being towed there and get in the truck and drive away!

    It was actually on the same road that I was a victim of a hit and run in december! Must be some amount of dodgy people living around there.

    Sounds rough. Anyone hurt? Not the first time I've seen a car been towed on that stretch of road. I called AGS the last time I saw someone do it, it's incredibly stupid on a motorway.

    Got caught in the traffic there alright.
    It looked like carnage....am glad nobody was hurt though!

    FFing idiots, only in Ireland would you see people towing other vehicles on a motorway with rope. I seen a Transit towing a similar sized van in the middle lane of the M50 with rope last year. Couldn't believe my eyes.

    *= And in the rest of the world as there are idiots everywhere but this Only in Ireland sounds better
