If a person with a Credit Union account is made a Ward of Court where does that leave the person who is the nominnee on the account?

Under normal circumstances a nominee can get up to a maximum of €23,000 by showing a death cert and the rest goes to probate.

A credit union nomination is deemed to take place immediately before death. If nomination had been validly made in the first place, I don't see how it could be affected by the subsequent mental incapacity of the disponor.
