Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1100 and Saorview

    Can anyone tell me if this tuner will decode the Saorview signal without using a third party codec or software? For example, is there any Hauppauge tuner that will decode Saorview using the WinTV software?

    If it can't could someone please recommend a tuner that would?

    Edit: If the codec is installed, will the codec cover all softwares that can be used. WMC, VLC etc?

    If you are using Windows 7, Windows own Media Centre has all the necessary codecs

    use vlc player. WinTV has not fully compatable under win7 & 8
