    Ok.. I have a pair of full length tights with padding. Just plain black
    Now What do I do wear a top only or shorts without padding and a top?
    Feel naked without shorts

    Sorry yes that's what it means.
    Do use not think it looks stupid with just black tights and a top?
    I thought I'd have to buy shorts without padding

    It's too warm for full tights anyway, but when it is cold enough for them, then no, it doesn't look stupid. :)

    FYI I think it's spelled "youse".

    No, it's pretty normal. Anyone you see wearing shorts over what looks like tights is probably wearing leg warmers, not tights.
