Hi

Has anyone any experience or finding it difficult obtaining a mortgage on a property that is prone to flooding ?

Are there criteria that the property has to meet before a mortgage can be drawn down - i assume there would be questions asked during the banks valuation.

The property is 20m from a river and flooded a few years ago
