MF 4345 Tractor Clutch Wear

Lads looking for a bit of info / advice here. We have an MF 4345 4wd loader tractor manual shuttle 2700 hrs approx. Its the main loader tractor on farm and does all the feeding out over winter say 1hr per day feeding maybe 20min in evening pushing in silage at barrier. Apart from that it has a generally handy life i.e. some transport work on road moving cattle to out farm, some topping grass cutting with 5ft 6 mower et so no big gear on it like slurry tankers etc.
So my question is clutch went on it the back end of 2011 and we got it replaced at local mechanic in December 2011. We were never really happy with it when it came back as bite was really high on the pedal. We actually took it back to him on two if not three occasions during 2012 to adjust it. It has been getting worse the last couple of weeks and went again on Monday. The old lad was taking a few cattle to the mart and had to bail out when it almost failed to drive up a slight incline in the road about a mile from home. He dropped it to the mechanic again and called this morning. Clutch replaced again but this time mechanic said he also replaced the flywheel which he hadn't replaced the previous time as it didn't need replacing.
Does this sound right? Surely the clutch should last more than 18 months. I accept its a loader tractor and will as such be prone to clutch wear however its not abused, the clutch isn't ridden during driving etc. Would the flywheel not having being replaced last time cause the clutch to wear out so quick?
Alopogies for long winded post just wanted to give an accurate picture if possible.

when you do the clutch you need to replace the clutch cable at the same time a new cable helps the clutch last longer and bring the old cable with you when getting the new one as there is at least 3 different ones , i ve seen some clutch do over 2 k hours with front loaders on them

    Thanks 6480,
Got it replaced again last week. Aparently he hadn't replaced the flywheel when changing the clutch last time as it didn't need to be according to the fitter. Hopefully replacing the flywheel this time will help. I will ask him about the clutch cable. It seems to be much better this time since we got it back than the previous time the clutch was done. I'd say the last clutch hasn't 200 hrs done not to mind 2,000 hrs. It better last longer this time. Lovely tractor since we have had it apart from this.
