    Hi

Just want to check if there is any private school bus service in Greystones that will pick-drop my child from door to school and back? I can't find any information on the web.

If this is not available, any other alternatives? We will be living around Mill road and the school is Educate Together.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think Educate Together have a Bus service, depends how far you live from the school.

Dublin Bus 84 & 184 both go from Mill Rd. to Blacklion.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

The Educate Together school bus's last stop is Charlesland - the criteria state you have to live a certain distance from the type of school to qualify (in this case multi-d and the Gaelscoil have one too).

Thanks. We will be living in Millbrook so hopefully we will fit in this criteria.

I'm not sure as Charlesland is the last stop coming in to school, and the first coming out. You have to be 5 k.m or more from the school to qualify and Charlesland is pretty much exactly that.

The bus picks up kids from Kilcoole and then Eden Wood/Eden Gate before going to Charlesland - just FYI!
You have to be a certain distance away from the school.
Best thing would be to ring Bus Eireann as you've missed the official deadline - don't think it matters too much, but they'd be able to clarify.

Thanks for your advise. We are about 3.5 to 4.4 km (depending on the route taken) away from school. As you suggested I will give Bus Eireann a call to check further. But as I understand there is no other service provider so if Bus Eireann doesn't workout then we may have to take either 84/184 bus.
