What a great Idea! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-north-east-wales-22370334 UK call center has opened an office in NZ and sent some of their employees to work there so they can provide a 24 hour cover! they live in NZ for four months at a time .. then its back home!

There has to be a catch. Surely it'd just be cheaper to either hire locals, or get staff working nights.

Sounds like a conscientious employer but don't ever see it catching on,although if they are paying the NZ staff normal day rates it might not be cost much to send them abroad rather than pay night rates at home.
