    Hi Just after some advice
We have a section 23 holiday house that is in a rental scheme managed by another company, here is my query originally our accountant said that the management company would pay NPPR, (didn`t get it in writing!) anyway the management company has just sent us a bill from kerry council asking for the NPPR plus penalties since its induction which is now a few thousand, is the management company liable for some of the payment? i would have paid it had i known it wasnt being paid!

It's the owner of the property that is liable, unfortunately.

Not sure what your accountant was doing advising otherwise.

You should pay the charge immediately to stop the penalties increasing and then you could talk to the council about paying off the arrears.
