Anyone remember back in the day the movies they used to show just after the Late Late Show? They used to show a lot of slightly arty movies like Women In Love or classic Hollywood movies from the 70's.As we diden't have a VCR I'd always be listening for the continuity announcer to issue the warning "this film is suitable for adult viewing only".I remember getting my first glimpse of a topless woman watching the Rod Steiger film The Pawnbroker.Happy days!Nowadays they only schedule interesting films at ungodly hours like 4 O clock in the morning.

Sometimes introduced by Brian Reddin. I recorded quite a few from this slot.

That was the Last Picture Show which started about 1995 and ran for 2 years or so.But that time slot was showing those kind of films much earlier than that, late 80's or thereabouts.
