Hi i'm about to do my exams in a few
weeks and just realised I'm not sure
how to start these questions from
    previous years -

I can do similar questions (with just
one permanent load and 1 variable
load) but i'm not sure how to start
these ones. Should I calculate a ULS
for each one individually or is there a
different way to do it? i've been using
1.35(Gk)+1.5(Qk) but not sure if it
should be different when dealing with
    more loads...
Sorry for the long winded question :D

What course is it? You may have more success getting people to answer if your pictures are the right way for people to read them
