    LOVE TO get into lanes rallying and multivenue autotest is there many around in ireland how do i start what do i need any special equiptment licences ect what is a nice car for this how do i do it cheaply

    Firstly, there are two clubs who actively promote the type of event that interest you, trials drivers club, www. Tdcireland. Com and what used to be known as Aer Lingus motor club, www.almc.ie.

    You will see that the Toyota Starlet seems to be the car of choice and I'm sure either lot would be more than happy to help you get involved.

    You will need a comp licence which if I remember rightly is ' clubman b ' and is a piece of cake to qualify for, after all if I can do it anyone can!

    Lastly , no overly specialist equipment is needed , though its not my branch of motorsport I know a number of lads who take part and swear its some of the best fun you can have with your clothes on!
