    You mean backup? Just turn on Time Machine.

    No I mean accessing it to back up certain items like I used to be able to on PC ??

    All items are backed up with time machine. If you want to access something that was deleted click the time machine icon in the menu bar.

    are you saying that you don't want to use the backup functions and just use the time capsule as a wireless external trice?

    if to backup just certain items - them exclude the items you don't want to backup in time machine preferences
