    Hi,

as title suggests, need help with the following on Triax TSC114.

    Installed 1no Triax TSC114 and 1no Ferguson Ariva 150 for a client.

All fine untill lately when an echo developed on channel 5 and its +1. I re-scanned but that didn't help. I checked all the sound settings on the TV and the receiver but to no avail. Perhaps I missed something or maybe someone else can shine a light on my problem, perhaps someone has encountered it before.

Second problem relates to recording. Client got a memory stick(presume a small capacity one, i didn't see it.) swhen they record programmes it seems to stop without recording the last part of the programme 5-6 minutes. This happens on both satellite and saorview. Client now has a larger capacity hard drive connected to the receiver so i told them to try and record with that to see what happens. I've no idea what they did as regards formatting or anything or does this matter.

any help appreciated, ask any questions.

    Thanks

Havent seen any problems with sound on channel 5, but regarding the recording issues have you update the box with the latest software ? as it fixes a lot of recording problems.

    Thanks Steveon, will do that.

After upgrading the box, can I re-load the old channel list that I've saved on a USB or should I re-tune the box from scratch. Just thinking that maybe the new upgrade won't suit the old channel list or anything like that/

What should my client have formatted the hard drive to for use with this receiver.

Anyone have any ideas on the channel 5 thing??

    Thanks
