Hi just after studying one year of a level 6 Higher Cert in Business at DIT, now I don't want to do business and plan on going to the National Collage of Ireland to study Computing, with my LC points I will have to do a Higher Cert before getting in year 3 of the level 8 course.

My question is will I get any sort of grant or assistance for starting over again, I have being told by NCI that I will be paying €2500 and €2064, no way to afford that so I will just stay in my current course. Anybody know weather I will get some or all of one?

    Basically you are dropping out

This effectively means that for year 1 you cannot a grant and you will have to pay the full fees as per the advice from NCI

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
