    Well Guys,

2002 Ford Ka with the 1.3 Duratec engine that's been round since the beginning of time. 109k Miles.

Trying to diagnose something over the phone until I get a look at it. My sisters Ford Ka has developed a misfire especially when accelerating under load or in too high a gear. Also what's described as an air sucking sound coming from the air box/inlet manifold area when initially accelerating the engine from under the bonnet. No engine management light on.

I'm suspecting coil pack giving problems along with a split hose somewhere. Any other areas to look for when I'm having a look? I'm not overly familiar with the engines.

    Thanks :pac:

Bump. Got a coil pack for 38 euro. Will see if that makes a difference.

It was the Ignition coil in the end. Back running fine.
