Would getting paid for 2 months at once incur more tax?

    Hi,

    just wondering if i get paid for two months (employer missed last months pay!)
    in one lump sum will it mean ill be liable for more tax or will it be the same?

    Assuming your employer has a certificate of tax credits from Revenue for you, and you are not on "week 1", then it should be the same.

    If you are on week-one, then you may get charged more tax now, but it can be sorted if you ask for a balancing statement at the end of the year.
