Deferred Signing Letter

Hi All I got a letter today to say my signing on date has been deferred until next month and that I may be randomly selected for short notice signing on before then. Hi All
I got a letter today to say my signing on date has been deferred until next month and that I may be randomly selected for short notice signing on before then. Has anybody ever heard of this before? Am I being tested? Do they ring or send you a letter?

There are a couple of weird things with the letter too, like the date they gave me is a Sunday, and the letter doesn’t even look that official, but they have my middle name and PPS number right so i suppose it is official.

If you're unsure and the letter looks dodgy give the dole office a quick buzz and double check.
