Water Damage

Well disaster struck this morning and I spilled some water on my Xbox. It's a standard white 20 GB model and the water would've went through the aeration holes on the side the power supply comes in.

Has anyone any experience in dealing with it? I haven't turned it on and don't plan on doing so for a few days in the hope it'll dry out but where do folks stand on hair dryers? Any advice?
