I've flown Dublin -> Melbourne with protein shake powder sachets in my hand luggage no problem (as well as a few short haul trips)! I reckon you'll be fine as long as its in original untampered packaging.

I've flown Cork to various parts of the UK and back with whey in small screw top plastic tubs. No one has ever had an issue. Once they ran the chemical testing wand over it and that was it.

im gonna chance it anyway, its in a 3kg bag but ther eis only 1kg left now so its far from untampered packaging!

Mine were just the small food type tubs from the pound shop so not even original packaging at all. I didn't even take the stuff out of my bag, it just went through the X-ray scanner. It's been about 3 months since I've last taken any as carry on but I can't see you having any issues. It might save space to get a lunch box and compact it into it?

I'd rather keep it in the original packaging to make it less suspicious lol

    Cheers for the info! ;)
