monitor desk mount?

I bought this about a month ago for a 23" LG monitor, very happy with it, solid construction, sturdy, plenty of adjustment. Very happy with it, and saves a fair amount of desk space having it suspended. That said the monitor stand that came with the monitor was shocking bad, trade off between looking nice and stability i guess.

I use an older version of this:

Expensive, in comparison to others, but pretty much the best in the industry. I've had mine for over four years at this point, and it's still completely solid.

holds 3 kilos more than the one i got, you could nearly mount yourself on it...

They all work for me. They're still showing zero views though. Maybe give Boards a few minutes to catch up or something.

The main advantage to the Ergotron ones vs. the cheaper ones is that you can move the monitor pretty much anywhere you want once it's mounted, simply by pulling on it. I can pull it out over my desk, and lower it right down, or push it right back against the wall, tilt the screen up, and pull the monitor as high as it will go, all without going near a single knob or anything like that.

Doesn't sound like you'd ever need to do stuff like that often, but I find myself just throwing my monitor back against the wall if I need to do something on the desk without even thinking about it.

Yeah yours looks and sounds great, I'd love to move it easily like that. If only I could pay that much! One day, I'm starting off witha starter stand I think :D

Tried FF & Chrome. Weird that it happens when i download too. It's like they have half loaded. Your uploaded ones worked great.

It moves easily enough, except in height, you have to fix it at something you are comfortable with, as its not just a case of pushing it to move it up and down! You can obivously readjust, but it takes a bit of fiddling.

But in, out swivel and pivot are all grand. You set the measure of resistence when you are setting it up, same as serephucus, if i bring home maps and drawings to work on, the moniter just gets pushed in to the wall, extends about 6 inches when flat with the wall.
