    Hi All

Thinking of selling my 21.5" iMac and i want to transfer my iPhoto and iTunes only. So any new machine will be completely fresh with the exception of the 2 previously mentioned programs..

Any way of doing this that does not involve time machine back ups?

For instance i can put all excel files on a USB stick and re-install office clean but i dont know how to do the same with itunes and iphoto

    Thanks for any advice

It depends on how large the iPhoto and iTunes libraries are I suppose. Copying the iTunes folder and the iPhoto library to an external hard disk would do. Once the new system is installed and iLife is in place then just replace the new iTunes and iPhoto library with the ones from the hard disk.
