No, maybe first 5'3'' passenger-carrying railcar all right. There are several 3' gauge railcars in preservation and small number of 5'3'' inspection cars.
Unless you count AEC 6111, wavering between preservation and the scrapman.

Are you sure? Their FB page has photos of parts recovery from withdrawn 450's (Castles) but does not mention that the units have been preserved https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.589026541115563.1073741832.110143252337230&type=1

    thanks.

It is true that 5 of the 6 units have been sold for scrap and one remains at Lisburn (455 i think). Perhaps it has been bought for preservation, perhaps it hasn't , we don't know for sure, but we don't deserve abuse for being sceptical

No 450 Class DEMU's are being kept by any preservation groups as of yet. To date, 451 452 & 456 have been scrapped. 453, 454 , 457 & 459 are getting scrapped. 455 & 458 will be kept by NIR for spare parts for the 80 class and possible future use as a Sandite Train, Although no firm plans have been made as this year is expected to be an 80 Class.

Re Lisburn - No 450s remain at Lisburn. 455 is in Ballymena Yard while 458 is in York Road. @ Lisburn 4 Gatwicks + Gen Van are stored on the siding road.

I can confirm that the DCDR will not be taking a 450 class.
