    Hi

My wife has an expired provisonal licence from about 2009, shes starting to dirve again (or will be as soon as she gets her licence sorted), does she simply need to apply for a 2nd licence/permit or does she have to start all over again with the theory and permits.

    Cheers

If it's from 2009 then she is fine, you have 5 years before you have to resit the theory test. So she just has to apply for her 2nd provisional.

I think you are safe, the limit is 5 years
