I'm signed up for it. Cycle starts early on Saturday morning, first leg from Dublin to Athlone, stay the night there. After some 'light' refreshment and a good sleep, it's onwards to Galway on the Sunday and finish in Eyre's Square in the afternoon.

I've been out on some of the training cycles over the last few weeks and the pace is fairly handy (slow), around 21-23km/h. There is quite of mix of cyclists in the group, aim is to keep the whole group together for the event. From what I hear they take lots of breaks every 20/30km.

This is my third year to do it. There just doesnt seem to be much mention of it on boards.ie like there is for other events, so I'm just curious. I probably know you to see or even talk to. Sure I'll probably see you on Saturday so

I'm doing it too. Second time doing it. It's very slow pace all the way across. Great craic though and a worthwhile cause.

Done it last year, really well organised event. Would do it again! Can't do it this year as I'm getting hitched at the weekend :-)

Well thats a good enough reason not to do it I suppose. Hope everything goes well for you. :)
