Possible small business for an enterprising 18 year old

I have about 300 CDs that I've made half hearted attempts to rip to mp3 down the years, but I never got beyond the B (Bach, Beethoven, etc.) I'd love it if there were a local service where I could drop my CD collection off, along with a portable hard drive, and pick them up 2 or 3 days later. I'd pay a couple of hundred euro to have this done.

It should be perfectly legal, as I'm allowed to rip my own CDs for personal use. Has anyone heard of a service like this in Irish towns and cities? If not, it seems that it would be a great startup business for a young person -- little to no cash outlay, work from your bedroom, get started easily.

What are the general feelings and thoughts on this?

    Link please ...

This may be true for new music that you purchase on-line, not sure if it's true for older ones.

I agree that it would be worth doing but the legality is you can't rip CDs legally in Ireland AFAIK. You also have insurance and the inevitable loss of CDs

I am going to just pay the neighbour's kid to do it over the summer.
