Looks like a great route and some of the route is on the Tour de Kilkenny, so it can be a nice practice!

By the way, the promotional video is excellent. Most especially the little chat with the white van driver!

It looks really good, great video, liked the song too - beats the awfulhavetomute techno tunes put over most cycling videos.
Might sign up for the 75k, 135k looks great but don't think I'd be able - happy to give money to SVP

What pace could you expect the shorter one to run at? Suitable for someone who's never done one before?

I'm signed up also, so you won't be on your own. Tail end Charlie is my normal finishing position.:D

Don't really feel like entering, but I might spin up and take a few pictures with my new camera. Will be somewhere around Clonroche and probably near the return into Enniscorthy.

Yeah and hes got lost on most of them!

Damp and drizzly this morning but Sunday looks better. Free parking Old Dunnes Stores car park about 500m from sign on. Car park at the Duffry Gate full with Strawberry Fest traders.

Where is the old Dunnes Stores car park - not familiar with the town.

As your location is Dublin I presume you'll come in on the N11.

At N11 roundabout outside Enniscorthy (beside BMW/Merc Garage) take 3rd exit direction Kiltealy. Follow this road and go straight through mini roundabout after 500m. You will pass the sign on venue on your left. At T junction ((opposite Supervalu supermarket go left and then right. Car Park is about 500m from junction on left hand side beside Garda station.

It's not as complicated to find as my instructions might indicate - I can assure you the only things moving at 8am tomorrow morning in Enniscorthy will be cyclists!

Thanks to the organisers, volunteers, stewards etc - saw Wexford, Carlow and Kilkenny at their best today. The two climbs out of Inistoige were awful - wasn't prepared for them at all. Food in Graiguenemanagh was excellent, particularly the tarts. Otherwise, lovely day, good company. Will be back.

Did the shorter distance. Tough routes. A lot of guys seemed to do long distance to food station but came home the short route! Lots of climbing and gorgeous scenery. On the short route the climb out of St Mullins is a pure wall! Good atmosphere at the finish.

Had a great day. Did the big dragon. Well marshalled and organised.

Surprised it was controlled for so long at the beginning. Loved the lemon cake at the food stop. Plenty of goodies to be had.

Some of the corners were a bit hairy though. Plenty of loose gravel and stones on a few of them.

Was looking forward to the steep lane in the video but was told that some interesting character was chasing cyclists away with a big stick and the route was changed.

Really enjoyed it and hopefully will be taking part again next year.
