So I'm buying a SSD for my Macbook Pro 13" Mid 2012 model. I have been looking at a few on Amazon. First of all will they be compatable with my Macbook?

    Samsung 840 Series 250GB

    Crucial CT256M4SSD2 256GB M4 SATA III

Which one would be better? What should I be looking for?

    Thanks in advance!

I fitted a Samsung 840 series into my 2012 15" MBP and it works fine ! 15 seconds to boot to the logon screen. There are opinions that the type of NAND cells used have less of a lifespan than other makes and the write speed is a bit lower. Try Google for more info.

So far for me though I'm a happy camper. I bought the drive in PC World a couple of months ago, I think it cost about 160 euro.
