I have a Toshiba L300 or L300D not sure but there was a problem with the DC port inside the laptop, bought a new and swapped the old one out.

Everything was working fine for about a day, until it wasn't charging the battery.
I cant get any power to the machine, even tried a universal charger and no joy with that either.

    Any suggestions??

Usually the there are two little plastic walls for holding the DC Jack in place, are they still intact and strong?
