    Are these just regular vans, or do they have some significance in getting broadband sorted in my area?

    In my area, UPC used Sierra to lay their fibre and put the DOCSIS onto the houses.

    Thanks, but that doesn't answer my question, as all the cables have been laid/hanging for years. It's a matter of certain neighbours blocking it.
