I always call into the Honda dealer on dock road when in limerick as they have very large stk and interesting however the stk doesn't change much this dealer has many Vehicles in stk over 6 years from when they were in punches x ! We are it talking a out old bangers. But bmws ford mustang jags and Mercs ! U think a dealer would send these to auction or sell in trade ! Believe owner made big bucks selling old site so prob owns all stock like the 2008 hummer h3 comm lhd he has for a while surprised it hasn't sold by now think if they were located nearer to Dublin they would sell there high end stuff much easier !

Yeah, I noticed the same myself when I went looking there one day for a new second-hand car. Mad cars that will be impossible to shift.

Mentioned it to my cousin who has a business that works with car dealerships in Limerick amongst others and he agreed. Not much sense at all.

I was in there the other week, noticed that myself. Most of the cars are just over priced. It doesn't look good when you take a look at the stock. A couple of the s class Mercs have dropped right to the ground .So I wouldn't even consider asking to try any out. The sales guy in there seems nice enough and quick, I wasn't on the lot a minute when he was out to introduce himself.

That Honda dealer has had that mustang longer than 6 years. I used to see it walking home from school when he had the place at Punches Cross and that was over 6 years ago.

He has been in the motor trade for along time. He seems to be happy to take trade-ins that are near impossible to shift and let them sit there for an eternity gathering moss without dropping the prices. Always found the staff decent but their prices were too high to do any sort of deal.

He didn't go mad and build a glass palace during the boom times either and his current showroom is only a few years old but was built before he occupied it so I'd doubt it's a loose around his neck.

Yes he was clever taking over ex motor zone premises though showroom is looking drab seem more into selling used Cars than new hondas and and all the old used cars don't create good impression . He must have lots of capital but strange way to run business remember in mid 90s b4 Celtic tiger he had some huge American motorhomes in stk so he's always gone against the grain but not moving on stk in years and having tired looking cars on forecourt Is just lazy !

I bought a Prelude off them about 8 years ago and there was a Skyline for sale there at the time. I was down there a week or two ago and guess what it's still there.
