The gf has a 08 vectra 1.9 CDTI with 300,000km on the clock the flywheel is gone just wondering what's best to replace it with another dual mass or solid. It's a 6 speed gear box if it makes any
    difference.
    Thanks

If you got that millage out of the first one i see no reason not to just replace it with another.

Good job on getting it to 300k! Personally I'd go for another DMF because in your case it's been proven to go for 300k, it'll be quieter, and put less stress on the gearbox. Had it failed at 70,000 I'd be inclined to go for SMF.

I think people are making a wild assumption that this is the original flywheel. I would bet good money that its not.

I did mine at 70k. I put a DMF back on and it has been super since. I would suggest you shop around and buy the part yourself. I found there was a huge variation in prices and I ended up getting the part in the UK.

Im stunned. Vectras ive known, they have needed either gearbox, flywheel or release bearing at small mileages. To get to 300k with im asssuming none of these problems is good going.
