Golf vs Mortgage vs Kids vs Health Insurance vs DIY
For the past 10 years golf has lost out, I've played 2 rounds in the past 5 years but with the kids growing up there's signs I could start getting out again, at least once a week.

I once played off 7, about 15 years ago, but I'm now 40 & don't expect my old Mizuno blades to cut it anymore.
Has anyone else come out the other side of this generational hibernation & what were the biggest obstacles they found ?.

I did, had 5 to 6 years out. Loved the come back.

I think the best thing I could say to someone is, don't think it is like riding a bike as they say. Day 1 or Day 20 - somewhere there, go to a pro and get 5 lessons.

I decided that the old way I could get to 12 to 15. But, I found out I was a bit **** at golf. I decided on comeback to try be a new golfer and get to a new level.

You were off 7 , so could be easier for you and not the same.

Join a course close if you can.
Dont get to wrapped up in the range - at our age injuries are a real risk.
Do your warm ups and try do exercises to help core.
Read some of the Rottela stuff.
    Relax and enjoy.

So it is a personal thing, but that was my story.

I had thought about having lessons & taking this opportunity to simplify my swing.
I always relied on a sway of weight transference & played with a slice if anything due to my swing plane.
I fancy one of these draws to add a few yards but accept things wont be a controllable.
