Folks, when I download my activity to Strava is shows my power output, but it won't display it on my scnreen while I am cycling (I have it selected, but it always shows zero). Anyone know why?.

I would have throught that the Garmin can estimate (or calculate) power based upon weight, slope, speed and cadence.

The Garmin does not, but Strava does exactly that, and gives you a fairly inaccurate Power estimate to complement your ride info.

Strava is so far off with their calculation to the point it is absolute junk.

As a slight aside, I recently found out that Strava completely under estimates the amount of climbing you do in a cycle (or maybe its actually the Garmin's fault). I have to download the activity using Garmin Connect, then click on the 'enabled', button for 'Elevetions Corrections' , then export it as a TCX file and manually load into Strava.
