I have been cycling on a Carrera TDF from Halfords for almost a year now. A decent training bike I must say, a bit on the heavy side. Which is all good for training. If I was to upgrade to a much lighter 2nd hand bike for around €500, what bike should I get? Thanks guys.

Hard to know what to tell you. It depends on what's available at the time. Bike shops don't really sell high end second hand bikes so you'll have to look on adverts.ie, donedeal etc or the adverts section on here.

It'll have to be the right size obviously and the newer the better. Something with either a 105 or Tiagra groupset preferably. A general rule of thumb is the more expensive it is when bought new the better it'll be.
