No NCT fine on record, forever?

    I got fined 150 euro for not having any nct on my car about 5 yrs ago, just wondered does this ever go off your record on it's own?
    Or is there a way of getting it taken off?

    Were you convicted? If the answer is yes then never.

    Yes convicted, I thought it was a fine put in poor box, but nope when I went to apply for a visa for Canada it showed up on a police check.
    Not end of world, just wondered.

    I cannot imagine any country in the known world caring you did not pay your NCT in 2008.

    You're correct it's not the end of the world, it's a minor offense and should not make a difference when applying for a visa.

    It didn't, I just had to explain what it was and why I got it. got 2 visas, just nice if it wasn't there, not sure what future might have in store.
