    Found an old one of these at home.

    My friend needs a remote for his Philips tv, but I can't seem to find out what model number the remote is so I can't just add in the code.

    I remember there was some way of automatically doing this, but can't for the life of me remember how exactly.

    Was purchased in ALDI or LIDL if I recall correctly.

    there should be codes in the manual, if that does not work there may be a learning function on the remote

    You could also order a replacement remote on ebay
