A mate of mine is travelling from Galway to Dublin in the morning.

Can anyone tell me, what stop should he get off at and roughly how far it would be in a taxi from that stop?

Maynooth is probably the easiest one to get off at..Not much more than 5 minutes to Carton from there..Fingers crossed for him there will be no "leaves on the track"!!!

The amount of times I had to drive back to Maynooth to collect the missus and drop her into town because the fcuking train didn't turn up:mad:

If going by bus then Maynooth would be the job, although he could possibly ask the driver if he will be passing the gate....

By train - the Galway train doesn't go through Maynooth.

Either Naas/Sallins or Heuston would leave him with about 25-30 min spin in a taxi.
