Cena Injured on European Tour

Reads like a storyline injury. There was no fan report saying he looked hurt and is likely doing the job for his team with Ryback vs The Shield when Ryback turns on him to build heat for Extreme Rules.

    Agreed it sounds kayfabed.

But, and I don't want to sound malicious, I wouldn't mind Cena disappearing for a few months. Be interesting to msee how WWe deal with no Punk or Cena...

An Achilles tendon injury takes a few months to heal, if it was indeed a legit injury. You would be looking at Cena being out for 7-10 weeks at least.

Even for someone like Cena 10 weeks is very hopeful, lets not forget wear and tear, it could be 6 or so months if injury is legitimate.

If Cena is indeed injured, Punk will be back next week. They could go without one but they wouldnt be brave enough to see what happens without both. Considerings the summer is usually a down period they could use it to experiment but I cant see them doing anything like that.

    **If its a real injury**

I remember Edge was out for a good few months with an Achilles injury.

they could just leave the WWE title vacant for a while, like they did with the WHC for those 5 months in 2004. ;)

PWInsider said it is legit and he will wrestle through it.

On the greatest injury when you are supposed to be literally and figuratively carrying The Ryback.

    Cena on twitter
"Finally home from a great European tour. I'm banged up, but I'm not going to miss Monday Night #Raw."

It would be fascinating to see who'd step up if he was out. It would only serve, I think, to further stress how bad an idea it was to turn Ryback heel.

FFS, he can't even sell a real life injury.

The only reason Ryback even got rushed up to the main-event was due to a Cena injury; it'd be morbidly fitting if it's also the reason for his first title reign.

No bad will intended for Cena, but honestly a month or two without him would be brilliant, so someone, anyone can be pushed up and just get him off tv for a few weeks.

A few months off would be great for everyone. Like when Austin got injured, Rock, Foley & Hunter got to elevate to be main event draws. Not that this will happen - Cena will likely just continue to cut promos on RAW and wrestle short, squash matches.

I woner if it happened before the Dublin show, lots of peoplae questioned his mood on the night.

It could have happened any time of course, but I could see WWE holding off a mention of it as not to spook anyone going or thinking of going to the shows during the tour.

It was unusual for him not to be in a match on RAW last Monday. Was he in a dark match main event?

Give Ryback the title, turn him back face and hope nobody noticed :pac:

Might be good to have Cena and Punk out of the Main Event picture for a while. Freshens them up and gives us something different.
