4 or 5* Romantic hotel in Paris - suggestions?

    Hi,

    I hope to bring my missus to Paris in June for 3 nights (midweek) for a very special occasion.
    Budget up to €300-350 per night. Want something 'wow', in a great location if possible... near good sights, restaurants, places to walk around.
    All recommendations welcome.
    I tried the forum search, but didn't see anything in this range.

    I have always loved the Hotel des Grandes Ecoles for the old-school elegance and charm. I'm not sure if you'll be lucky enough to snag a room there at this stage for June. It tends to book out about four-five months in advance as soon as they release the bookings.

    If you do get a room don't eat breakfast there - head up the street to the square where there are a few eateries.
