New Office365 email Setup Guide.

    Just took a bit of time to work out how to setup the new Office365 that the It uses. Thought it might be useful to someone.

    I found 2 Apps for Android
    1. MailDroid
    2. Emoze

    Both are fairly easy to set up.

    I currently use Emoze, so heres a simple guide for that.
    • Add Account ("+" sign top right of screen)
    • Service Screen: Select office365
    • Enter Credentials Screen: Name:xxxxx
    • Username:S00xxxxxxx@mail.itsligo.ie
    • Password: xxxxxxx

    Cant remember MailDroid but I think its similar.

    Both can be set to receive over WiFi and have option to set to manual check, to save battery etc.

    I have also just set up Thunderbird

    Below is what you need to set that up.

    IMAP setting
    Server name: pod51018.outlook.com Port: 993
    Encryption method: SSL

    SMTP setting
    Server name: pod51018.outlook.com Port: 587
    Encryption method: TLS

    For Username, you need to add your full email address "s00******@mail.itsligo.ie"
