4OD wont work on macbook air

    anyone have any idea how to watch 4od on the mac.

    tried firefox,chrome,opera,safari and no joy.
    guy beside me in work has exact same machine.he cant get it to work either.

    40d website says its mac compatible so i'm stumped.

    running 10.8.3

    no error.you click the play icon and nothing happens.just get a black screen where the vid should be playing

    Likely a flash or silverlight issue.

    you using eircom broadband by any chance - thats your problem if you are!!

    theres a known issue with the eircom dns servers and 4od. 4od works perfectly in ireland on any other network. there is a workaround though. change your dns servers to opendns by following these steps.
    Go to System Preferences.
    Click on Network.
    Select the first connection in your list and click Advanced.
    Select the DNS tab and add 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 to the list of DNS servers.
    Click OK.
