well if they are good for motorbike and cycling bike two out of three so far.

36 euro for a tyre is ok. I won't be driving a lot on these .

I have them on my Mondeo (2010 Titanium 2.0 TDCi) and apart from a bit of road noise (although not too bad, livable with) they grip well in dry, wet & cold conditions and so far seem to be wearing well. I would deffo consider using them again.

I may get them. Need four tyres

Im aware Im probably looking at this from the wrong angle, but there is no way on earth I would let a €36 tire within a country mile of my car.

Agreed. Tyres on my bicycle were slightly more expensive.

36 euro sounds very cheap! (I know it depends on size, but my ones cost me £60 each)

I'd use that term loosely when talking about £60 (€/£??) a corner for tyres.

Not quite as ridiculously cheap might be a better turn of phrase. :P

As already said, I've heard of these for a motorbike and they're a fantastic tyre, but never heard of them for a car. I don't see how they'd be bad. I say give it a go.

:o:o Thinking about it the price I said for mine seemed cheap (as I remembered it was the guts of £400 to change them all) so I looked up the reciept, they were £97 each (not sure what that is in euros) :o:o

these are the ones I have, http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Maxxis/MA-Z1-Victra.htm

The general reputation for Maxxis tyres is that they are fantastic on mountain bikes for downhill and for cross-country. For motorbikes, my biking friends wouldn't go near them. For cars, they are amongst the better of the real low budget tyres but that is not saying much.

Personally I have 3 sets of Maxxis tyres for the all-mountain bike (supertacky 2.5s Minions and Wetscreams, and 2.25 60a ADvantages) but I wouldn't put them near either of my cars.

The last time I put budget tyres on my car I had a near-accident at relatively low speeds, and since then I've not gone near cheap tyres, and I've had a much better and safer time on the road as a result.

I replaced a set of Michelin tyres with them (on the recommendation of the place where I get my tyres) and IMHO they are a far better tyre for grip.

That's just my experience of them.
(many of my Moto-X & Supermoto mates seem to like them too)
