    Hi,
    I have been left this tv with contents of a house in Fermanagh, it has all the uk channels and rte1,rte2, will I be able to use it in the Republic?

    It's on the Saorview approved list, so no problems.

    Its a fab tv, and I was dreading it not working here!
    Will I just be able to get the saorview channels. or all the freeview uk as well?
    Will it work through the aerial socket as my other tv does?

    This tv doesn't have a satellite tuner. Freeview is the UK terrestrial service & you'll only get it if you are in range of a transmitter.

    Can't answer that question without knowing your approx. location.

    As I'm living in Clare I guess that means I'll just get the Saorview channels?
    Thats ok, its better than nothing!
