    This scam or a version of it is as old as the hills, anybody who believes that someone is going to give them the full asking price for there car without even seeing it needs there head examined.

    Yes, that's one of the most common scams in existence, used for anything from rent self catering holiday cottages to vans for sale. A person who falls for it these days, is frankly a dim bulb.

    There's a new eejit born every minute and will continue to be - look at our property crash / political promises ........... :P

    If all these scams are as old as the hills - how come they're still working for the scammers ??? :rolleyes:

    Well said Capri. There are a lot of innocent people out there and just because we are cynics it doesn't mean that everybody else is.

    On another note.........Rang a guy on DD today about parts he was selling...turns out he didnt have what i needed, but being a true gentleman and clearly a classic car enthusiast he offered me a couple of irish tax books for my car..........:rolleyes:..ffs...

    Dont care about them...we've all scammed them at some stage..:P.....but it always makes me wonder when i see an immaculate classic with original irish plates....in the classic game its not exactly what it says on the tin...
