BF3 No Mortar servers?

Anyone know of servers than ban mortars?
They are an absolute joke imho and easily the most annoying feature in the game.

One of my favourite servers zombie island has banned the use of m16a3/m16a4 yet allows noobs sit there and spam mortars :rolleyes:

Mortars have been nerfed heavily and are nowhere near as effective as they once were. They're a minor annoyance now.

This whole banning of stuff seems silly. I was playing a week ago and was getting raped by the attack chopper. The gunner was the server owner, and on the welcome message it had the common rule of no Igla's. That only encouraged me so spawned back in with the Igla at the ready and locked him up and fired a few at him for ages. I got kicked seconds after I shot him down.

The mortars are no big deal now that they are nerfed. I very rarely see them in use on xbox. I'll be using them a good bit over the next week to get the LSAT specialist thingy.

Yeah im going for LSAT assignment and f*ck me its difficult. Even on hardcore only an absolute direct hit is a kill v an enemy with 100% health. On regular servers its two and one has to be direct afaik. The badmins really make a joke of the game. Its so common on ps3 to see things like

no m16a3/igla/javelin/c4 on objectives/stealing vehicles/shotguns/rpg v infantry

Like I hate saying this but there's a perfectly good game that's centred around close quarters sub machine gun combat and it's called Call of Duty.

I like mortars in order to stop snipers sitting on top of a building somewhere being dicks.

They are heavily nerfed (to much imo) but they still do enough to get people moving instead of camping for the entire game

I love playing the fire-one-mortar-then-run game with camping mortar guys, gets interesting when there is a few of them!

Not really, if theres something that affects gameplay in a negative manner and you are paying for a server then i see nothing wrong with banning stuff.
5-10 mortars on one team fits right into this bracket, a single mortar may be nerfed but its common on 64 player servers to see about 10 per team.

Console players need not comment ,no offence but you havent a clue what im talking about when i say 64 players lol , i stated in the title PC ,vastly different game guys vastly different.
